Job Purpose                

To maintain the Register of Members (vets & nurses) and Register of Veterinary Practice Premises whilst ensuring continuous improvement and providing high standards of Customer services to Members.

 

Key Responsibilities      

  • Support the annual renewal operations for veterinary surgeons, nurses and premises
  • Assist with the integrity of the Register by following a programme of data cleanse exercises.
  • Continually identify areas of improvement and smarter working.  
  •  Provide assistance with membership and premises inquiries through contact methods such as telephone and email, ensuring a prompt and proactive approach is taken to deliver a service focused on finding solutions.

 

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Create relationships with external customers, for example, Practice Managers, veterinary authorities and licensing bodies in other countries, DEFRA, BIS and other professional regulators and associated organizations
  • Offer support within the Department, utilising cross-skills whenever required.

  • Ability to identify solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • IT literate: Word, Access, Excel, database management
  • Strong writing and drafting skills.
  • Excellent telephone manner

 

 

Qualifications               

Educated to at least A level - Preferred
