The RCVS Academy was launched in June 2022 and this exciting new role will support this function, which falls under the ‘Compassion’ strand of the Strategic Plan, as follows:
Help our regulated professionals to meet the standards expected of them by their peers, the public and society at large by launching the RCVS Academy, which will house a range of online educational tools to help veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses and other potential associates of the College understand what is expected of them in terms of meeting standards, and to support them acquiring relevant knowledge and staying up to date in a creative, accessible and inspiring way.
Job purpose
A new opportunity to support the development of the Academy by generating consistency and brand accuracy across the digital learning platform. Ensuring that learning content remains high-quality, consistent and learner centric.
Working with the Academy team and subject matter experts to support the development of content. Edit content to ensure clarity, accessibility, and consistency with brand guidelines. Work within the quality assurance framework to proof-read and corroborate content to meet project timelines. Develop communications that increase internal and external engagement with the Academy.
An exciting opportunity to develop the Academy brand and learner engagement. An enthusiasm for digital learning, with a flexible, positive approach and attention to detail is required to meet the role responsibilities and drive continuous improvement.
